Four of our  competent construction managers have just been appointed to senior construction managers

Four of our skilled and competent construction managers - René Rosenville Christensen, Christian Ørtoft Vejsager, Steen Vigandt Rasmussen and Thomas Brøndberg Johansen -  have just been appointed to senior construction managers. René Rosenville Christensen and Christian Ørtoft Vejsager, are at present responsible for the construction of Teglbakken for FB Gruppen located at Nærheden, Hedehusene. Thomas Brøndberg Johansen is in charge of the construction of Bovieran Solrød, and Steen Vigandt Rasmussen is part of the construction management team, which is responsible for the construction of Torveporten in Valby, which is a 50/50 joint venture project between Balder and NREP. Warm congratulation to our newly appointed senior construction managers.

FB Gruppen and Sjælsø Management will construct 192 homes in Nærheden - Teglbakken

Nærheden P/S has entered into an agreement with Sjælsø Management and FB Gruppen about the housing project “Teglbakken”, which will consist of terraced houses, apartments and green areas between the homes. The terraced house will be owner-occupied homes, while the apartments will be rented out. Builder is a joint company owned by Sjælsø Management and FB Gruppen.

Construction will start as soon as a local plan has been approved during the spring 2021 and the homes are expected to be ready for occupancy at the end of 2022. The project is named after the former brickwork companies in this area. And that is precisely why all buildings will be built in brick. Furthermore, the terraced house will have charming gabled roofs allowing attics and all apartments will have balconies. The project also includes a parking garage for the area’s residents.

Development and construction management agreement in Høje Taastrup C

We are pleased that Balder has chosen to invest in 2 construction sites in the new interesting area, Høje Taastrup C. Both construction sites have an attractive location next to the new park area, and will be developed in cooperation between Balder Danmark as developer and Sjælsø Management as project developer and management contractor. Mangor & Nagel have been chosen as architect for both projects accommodating more than 100 homes. We expect to start construction at the end of 2020, respectively mid-2021.

Construction management agreement - parking garage

Sjælsø Management has entered into a construction management agreement with Nærheden P/S regarding the construction of a parking garage at building plot 5.2 in the new neighborhood Nærheden in Hedehusene. The architecture will be adapted to the green profile of Nærheden with varying green planting areas on the facades. The parking garage will contain 222 parking spaces. The project is currently underway and the parking garage is expected to be ready for use by the new residents in July 2020.

From 1 April 2019, Flemming Joseph Jensen joins Balder Denmark as CEO. Flemming Joseph Jensen maintains his current position as CEO of Sjælsø Management, and will distribute his work effort between the two companies.

Palms will grow in Nærheden, Hedehusene

Nærheden will accommodate a new Bovieran - senior residential homes for residents older than 55 years. The development and construction of Bovieran, located in Copenhagens new suburb, will be handled by Sjælsø Management.

NREP and Balder decided to choose Sjælsø Management as construction manager of more than 35,000 sq.m.

Sjælsø Management is very proud of being chosen as construction manager of the project Torveporten, which is a 50/50 owned new joint venture between NREP and Balder. Torveporten comprises more 35,000 sq.m. offices, dormitory and housing and located on the former Grønttorv in Valby. Construction will take place from 2021-2024 and the buildings will be DGNB-certified. Torveporten includes a flexible Woods office building (7,725 sq.m.), a UMEUS-dormity (15,074 sq.m.) and approx. 165 quality homes (12,375 sq.m.) A cooperation which Sjælsø Management is looking very much forward to.

Development and construction management agreement with Balder Denmark - Ofeliahaven

We are pleased to announce that we, in cooperation with Balder Danmark A/S, have developed “Ofeliahaven” in Helsingør. Sjælsø Management will, on behalf of Balder, be responsible for the implementation and management of the project. Balder has acquired an attractive residential construction site located in the former old hospital area, which over the next few years will be transformed into a vibrant area focusing on recreative whereabouts, playgrounds and community. “Ofeliahaven” comprises 110 rental homes and is scheduled to be completed in 2022. With apartments of 2-4 rooms, “Ofeliahaven” will be attractive to students, couples, singles, families with children and senior citizen. The project, which will be DGNB certified, is designed by Vilhelm Lauritzen Architects.

Development and construction management agreement in Nærheden

We are pleased to announce that we have entered into an agreement with Balder Danmark regarding development and construction of Lynghaven, a new project which will be located in the new green neighborhood Nærheden, Hedehusene. Dissing + Weitling are the architects behind and the project comprises 184 modern apartments for rent surrounding a green courtyard with playground, kitchen garden and a little village pond.

Palm trees are coming to Frederiksværk and Helsingør

We are happy to inform that seniors in Frederiksværk and Helsingør can look forward to enjoying life under palm trees in a climate like the French Riviera. Bovieran Danmark has purchased sites in the two cities, local plans for both sites are expected to be approved by the beginning of 2020. Sjælsø Management will be construction manager.

Construction management agreement with Balder Danmark A/S

​It is with great pleasure that Sjælsø Management has entered into a construction management agreement with Balder Danmark A/S regarding the construction of 127 apartments, totalling 10,500 sq.m., in the campus area near Hillerød train station. the local authorities have issued the building permit, and we are looking forward to start the construction in short time with Raundahl & Moesby as contractor.

Development and construction management agreement with Balder Denmark - Hundige Øst

Balder has won the tenders regarding two sites in Hundige Øst, and we are pleased that we in close cooperation with Balder and Daniel Architects are to develop 2 attractive housing projects comprising approx.. 23,000 m2, about 350 apartments. ”Hundige Øst is an exciting urban development project with a perfect location close to shopping opportunities, train station, the marina and beach. Development and construction management agreement with Balder Danmark and Bovieran

We take pride in that Solrød Municipality has chosen the project “Green Hills” – the green city gate to Solrød” on the Cordoza site. Together with Balder Danmark and Bovieran Danmark we are responsible for the development and construction management of both projects, which comprises 300 rental homes for Balder and the green senior housing community Bovieran comprising 55 apartments. The municipality has set high standards for sustainability and DGNB certification from the start, which we are looking forward to deliver in cooperation with Balder, Bovieran, Solrød Municipality and Danielsen Architecture.

FB Gruppen and Sjælsø Management enter into a strategic partnership

The developer company FB Gruppen and Sjælsø Management enter into a strategic partnership regarding site management and completion of FB Gruppen's projects. The first project is the construction of 14 terraced houses and 60 apartments in the former business area Snedkerhaven located in Hvidovre. The 14 terraced houses have been sold as owner-occupied homes and the 60 apartments have been sold to Dades for rent.

Balder invests in 184 family homes in Nærheden

Balder has purchased 15,000 sqm. building rights from NærHeden P/S. The development and construction of the 184 homes will be handled by Sjælsø Management.
